For Malaysians, badminton is more than just a sport — it's part of who we are. From the legendary Sidek brothers to Lee Chong Wei's era of glory that transcended borders, and now Lee Zii Ja carrying that legacy forward, badminton has always been a hot topic at the mamak, in the office, and everywhere in between. At soju88, we understand this passion, which is why we've built the most complete and user-friendly badminton betting platform for Malaysian fans.
Soju88 offers over 150 badminton betting markets covering all major world-level competitions — from the BWF World Championships, All England Open, and Malaysia Open to the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and Sudirman Cup. There is no need to wait for a specific sporting season, as international badminton tournaments are available to follow and bet on at soju88 virtually every week.
One of the biggest advantages of betting on badminton is that you already have a solid base of knowledge about the players and their playing styles. If you follow Malaysian badminton, you know each player's strengths and weaknesses — giving you an edge over bettors who are going in blind. At soju88, we build on that knowledge with in-platform statistics, head-to-head records, and up-to-date performance analysis to help you make smarter betting decisions.
For mobile users, soju88 delivers a fully optimised smartphone experience. Follow live scores, check the latest odds, and place in-play bets while matches are in progress — all from your phone screen. Picture yourself watching Lee Zii Ja battle it out at All England while placing live bets from your sofa — that's exactly what soju88 offers.
For deposits, soju88 supports all major local Malaysian payment methods. Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks — all available for your convenience. The minimum deposit is just RM 30, and funds arrive in under a minute so you never miss a betting opportunity during a tense match.

Malaysia is one of the world's badminton powerhouses, and Malaysians have a deep passion for the sport. From the era of the Sidek Brothers to Lee Chong Wei's unrivalled dominance over more than a decade, and now the rise of a new generation including Lee Zii Ja, Ng Tze Yong, Aaron Chia, and Wooi Yik — the Malaysian badminton wave has never faded. At soju88, we channel that passion by providing a betting platform built specifically for fans of this sport.
One major advantage of betting on badminton at soju88 over other platforms is the depth of markets we offer. Not every online betting platform takes badminton seriously — many focus almost exclusively on EPL football or European leagues. At soju88, badminton gets the same treatment as any major sport. You'll find competitive odds, comprehensive markets, and live scores updated in real time for every BWF Super Series match.
For Thomas Cup and Uber Cup matches held in Malaysia, soju88 provides full and dedicated coverage. These are the most anticipated tournaments for Malaysian badminton fans — and we want you to experience every moment with a wide range of betting options. The historic moment Malaysia won the 2020 Thomas Cup after a 23-year wait is among the most memorable for soju88 players.
Soju88's in-play betting feature for badminton is among the most responsive in the Malaysian market. When your favourite player builds momentum after winning several consecutive points, the odds shift immediately to reflect the current state of play. This opens up unique opportunities for sharp bettors to place in-play wagers based on live observation of the match — rather than relying solely on pre-match analysis.

The more live matches you watch, the better you understand each player's style and strengths. That knowledge is a genuine edge over bettors who bet blind on soju88.
Minor injuries can have an outsized impact in badminton. Always check the latest news before a match starts. A player nursing a back or knee injury is an opportunity to bet on their opponent.
Some players are psychologically weaker against certain opponents, even when ranked higher. The head-to-head records available at soju88 can reveal these patterns.
Wait for the first set result before placing an in-play bet. Once the first set is done, you'll have a clear picture of who's playing better on the day. Sometimes the odds after the first set are still favourable on soju88.
Badminton can be highly unpredictable — world-class players can lose on an off day. Spread your bankroll across multiple matches and never put all your stake on a single bet.
Malaysian players almost always perform better when the Malaysia Open is held in Kuala Lumpur. The energy of home crowd support provides a real motivational boost — a genuine factor worth factoring in when betting on soju88.
